When it comes to adult films, many different qualities may stand out to you as being important. You may want to find the people in it attractive (shocking), and of course, the directing and cinematography must be top notch. One quality that is perhaps more important than any other (who am I kidding, of course it is) is a catchy title to help bring the audience in.

One of the most tested measures to make sure your film is going to catch the eye of people is to have it parody something that people love. There is no doubting that 12 Inches A Slave would be a lot less well received if people did not immediately understand it is a parody of the Oscar winning film12 Years A Slave. There are definitely original titles out there that are catchy or clever, but unless it is referencing something that you already love, the chances of you remembering it.

No matter how good the acting is, nobody is going to remember you if your film is called Vagina Town but some of the titles that made this list? Well, you can better believe that these are some of the best film adult film parodies in the industry. Some will make you laugh, some will make you squeamish and others may cause you to wonder if the parody will be better than the original.

11 Hairy Twatter

Via forum.bodybuilding

This one is especially hard to write about when you consider how Harry Potter was a series that many people started reading when they were younger, and continued it into adulthood. I suppose then it shouldn't be shocking that the adult film took note of the series and jumped all over it. The title Hairy Twatter might be clever, but it still won't wash the image out of your mind of Harry using his 'wand' in the wrong way.

The film is put being produced by DreamZone, who state that

"There are indeed some magical times at the Whore's Wart's School for Witches & Wizards. But the one thing disturbing the male population is the that none off the females have any hair on their twats. Harry, being the most powerful wizard at the school, experiments with dark magic in hopes of big bushes. The results are quite hair raising"

...just why?

Now to be fair, when one of the main taglines for the show is "winter is coming," you need to expect that you are opening yourself up for some adult film parodies. Combined with the fact that it translates to one so easily (just change throne to bone? Comedic gold) and the only question you are left asking may be why aren't they making more of these? The film came out in 2013 and starred James Dean and Anikka Albrite. My real question is if they are going to make you really start to feel for one of the characters, only to then kill them off!

8 Lord Of The Rings: The Femaleship Of The String

Via torrentangel.com

I don't know if you know this, but quite a few people have gone and seen The Lord Of The Rings. As a result, the adult film industry was well aware of the popularity and went to work creating their own parodies. They were clearly successful, so much so, that this is not even the only LOTR parody that is going to appear on the list! The film The Lord Of The G-Strings: The Femaleship of The Ring came out in 2003, but it may have had a slightly smaller budget.

The film's plot is described as "A diminutive and seductive Throbbit has been entrusted with the task of destroying the all-powerful G-String that can grant its possessor untold powers."

If that wasn't enough, one of the characters names is Araporn.

7 Alexis Texas Is Buttwoman

When I think about who my favorite Batman was, my answer is probably Christian Bale. When it comes to favorite Buttwoman? Well, I think Alexis Texas may be pretty high on a lot of people's list. The series is not only hilarious for its name, but also was the winner of the 2009 AVN award for Best All-Sex Release. The series was not only Texas' first attempt at taking on the primary 'character' in Buttman, but was also her first on-screen butt experience. In the past, Buttwoman has been portrayed by Belladonna, Brianna Love, Tainna Lynn and Lauren Phoenix.

Given the British stereotype of them being all proper and well mannered, it makes an adult film parody of the show all the more appealing. Plus it stars Ben Dover! When you have the foresight to create such a clever (and totally original) adult film name like that, you clearly deserve an audience. To help add some more appeal to the film, it was actually filmed in a castle.

The director, Gazzman, described his reasoning for the location choice, "Americans need to build sets in warehouses to film their parodies, In the United Kingdom, we just haul off and find a castle. There's loads of them here." Gazzman says that the local town council tried to get the shoot closed down when villagers realized what was going on at their beloved castle, but the production wrapped successfully.

At least it makes for an interesting story!

It is already ambitious enough when you are trying to turn an animated show into a real life movie. I don't even want to think about how Zoidberg or Bender could have a role in this adult film parody. Not to mention the whole one eyed thing on Leela may work for Fry, but for the general audience? Maybe not so sexy. The film also cast a female as fry, like what?! You're hurting a classic show and it just isn't worth it! I mean I guess it's a clever title, but I wish it would have stayed that and not turned itself into a reality that will haunt my dreams.

4 12 Inches A Slave

Via YouTube

A former winner of the AVN's cleverest adult title was 12 Inches A Slave. It should come as no surprise that the winner is a parody of a famous film, as these tend to do well with audiences. Combined with the fact that it's a bit of a shocking title helped seal the deal for the film. The film features 5 different female actresses (Erin Moore, Kyanna Lee, Mika Tan, Sheila Marie and Aline) who are chained to a different male, African American actor and are very well endowed. There is no telling if they'll be any moving, Oscar winning performances from the film, but I'm going to go with no.

3 Pulp Friction

Via blaubs.wordpress.com

Pulp Fiction is one of the best films of all time. It has an engaging plot that helps lead the way for some of the best acting performances around. I cannot imagine those qualities were deemed quite as important to the cast of Pulp Friction. To the director and cast's credit, the film also came out in 1994 so you at least know they had a quick turnaround time.

When describing the plot, it is described as "They're tough, they're mean, they're the babes of Pulp Friction. Shelby Stevens, Crystal Wilder, J.R. Carrington and Tina Tyler are arch enemies. It's all about money and sex - men and women."

I don't know how that relates to Pulp Fiction in any way, but I am sure the audience wasn't complaining.

2 Whore Of The Rings

Now I hate to disappoint you, but I can't actually tell you if this film is any better than the other adult film parody of LOTR that was on the list. What I can tell you, is that I think this is a much funnier/more clever of a title and for that it deserves the higher spot. The film came out in 2001 and starred Aurora Snow and Kylie Ireland. While there was no plot summary available, I can only imagine the plot centers around sex, some form of ring and probably a little bit more sex.

1 Force Rising

Via digitalplayground

The biggest film of this past year is without a doubt, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. When the title was first announced, the internet was quick to realize that there was no shortage of jokes to be made (my favorite? The Force Hits Snooze). The adult film was well aware of this trend as well, so of course Force Rising is a thing. I'm not too sure why they decided to deck one of the characters out in red bodypaint, but you at least have to applaud their effort. I'm not too sure if The Force would have a role in the bedroom, but you better be careful when you are unsheathing your lightsaber!
